Strolling In Style With The Bumbleride Queen B Stroller

If you're looking for a modern stroller packed with bang up to date features and functions, but also have a romantic notion of taking your baby out in an elegant, classy, vintage pram - then you need to look no further than the BumbleRide Queen B Stroller. When my son was first born I purchased a MacLaren Techno XLR, and when he was about two months old, I decided to purchase BumbleRide Queen B as I felt the MacLaren wasn't ideal in some situations - I enjoy using both strollers now, but I must admit I use them for different purposes. Here my aim is to mostly discuss the Queen B.



If you've seen the pictures, you'll know that the Queen B is a beautiful stroller. I was first enticed into looking into it purely on it's fantastic looks (call me shallow!). The fact that it’s been called the ‘Queen’ gives you a clue that the designers were looking to create something with enough class for royalty. The upper part of the stroller (bassinet and seat alike) are covered in fine looking materials to make this a reality. Below the seating portion is a modern looking frame, which is where the modern day meets the traditional. My Queen B has been attracting many envious look from the other new moms in the local area since I've been out with it!



Looks aside, my idea behind getting the Queen B was that I wanted a stroller more suited to uneven ground than the Techno XLR. We love to walk in the country, and I’m finally up to walking "properly" again now! I felt that the MacLaren, whilst being superb around town, wasn't as good I would have liked when taken on more difficult surfaces. The Queen B, on the other hand, has proved to be a top performer wherever I’ve taken it. Up and down hills, paths or no paths, through mud and puddles, rocky surfaces, all without a problem. A great advantage of the BumbleRide Queen B is that its tires are air-inflated, and together with the amount of padding on the seat this means that my baby feels none of the bumps as we glide along.



I've no complaints about how it's performed when I've used it around town, either. On the occasions when I’ve favoured it over the MacLaren for the weekly shop, I’ve found it to be easily manoeuvred and steered. I can adjust the handles quickly after my husband’s been using it, and I can whip it in and out of the car in no time at all. It collapses to a very compact size, and can be made even smaller by taking the wheels off if needs be. The BumbleRide Queen B is just so versatile - it wipes the floor with the MacLaren XLR on all types of off-road terrain - so even though the MacLaren is fractionally better in the supermarket and on the bus, the Queen B comes out on top overall.



In summary, if you’re after a stroller just to take to the shops - you can probably find one cheaper and more practical than this one. If you require something with a lot more flexibility, that you can take out and about no matter how tough and challenging the terrain, and if want to be the envy of any mom who sets eyes on you, then look no further than the BumbleRide Queen B.
