You have to get hold of all sorts of things when you are expecting a baby - but of all of the purchases, the stroller is possibly more important than the rest. As well as being at the high end of the price spectrum, it is the one item you'll most likely be using more than the rest put together. It is therefore imperative that you do as much research as you can before making your selection, to ensure that the stroller you go for fulfils all of the requirements you have.

I've had a baby and a stroller for five months now, and I'm writing this review to break down the advantages and disadvantges of my own model - the BumbleRide Queen B - to help you decide whether it is suitable for you as well. I’ll be looking into the stroller’s durability, mobility, travel convenience and safety - discussing the aspects that are good for me, the aspects that are good for my baby, and the aspects that haven’t impressed me so much.

Durability.

In my opinion, the BumbleRide Queen B is an extermely hardy stroller. The aluminium chassis is very sturdy, and the fabrics are all removable and machine washable. This stroller can carry babies and infants up to a weight of 65 pounds - meaning that your baby really will never outgrow it - and should a second come along you can even get a toddler seat addition for it.

Manoeverability.

The BumbleRide Queen B has the best set of wheels I've seen on any stroller. It is so easy to push - the clever addition of inflatable 12 inch tyres mean that even most demanding tracks cause the stroller no issues at all. The front wheels are steerable, but not as easy as some other strollers around particularly tight corners.

Is It Easy To Use?

The BumbleRide Queen B is designed to easily accomodate a newly born baby or a toddler with ease, using the bassinet, the seat or the optional extra toddler seat. The stroller collapses to a size of 20 inches wide by 23 inches deep by 39 inches high - which will fit into most car trunks, even without removing the wheels (which can be easily done if needs be).

Is It Safe?

I've been more than happy with the security of the BumbleRide Queen B - my child is secured by a five strapped harness with pads at all of the places where it comes into contact with the child. As well as the harness, a bumper bar across the front ensures your child stays put at all times.

Good For Me.

Nice bonuses packaged with the BumbleRide Queen B are a cup holder, pump for the tyres and a foot muff. The stroller handles are fully adjustable (between thirty and forty-two inches) - great for switching between yourself and your significant other. The stroller will also fit many different car seats from several manufacturers via its adaptor.

Baby Plus Points.

Baby will love the comfort of the BumbleRide Queen B Stroller. As mentioned above, the air filled wheels glide baby over the most uneven surfaces, whilst the cushioned harness keeps him/her secure.

Disadvantges.

The main drawback is how hard it is to push the stroller around sharp corners, which can be quite commonplace when you are out shopping. It is also quite heavy, which exacerbates the problem. The other problem is the reversible seat - which you have to take out completely in order to switch positions. This is a fairly clumsy way of achieving this - I wish there was a simpler mechanism.
